At&t Natural Voice Sapi 5 - English Voices

Shares are off 2.7% in Wednesday trading after KeyBanc Capital Markets analyst Brandon Nispel wrote that his analysis of third-party credit-card data showed 'further deterioration' in video subscriber trends. 'While video monetization remains healthy, subscriber metrics are not,' Nispel said. He wrote that AT&T TV and DirecTV subscribers look to be below his original expectations through October based on the card data. Nispel also sees HBO customers declining now that 'Game of Thrones' has ended. While he argues that excitement for the upcoming HBO Max streaming service is 'increasing' following the hype around Walt Disney Co.' S new Disney+ offering, Nispel has a measured view of AT&T's potential in streaming: 'We doubt HBO Max will be anywhere near as successful as Disney+ given: 1) HBO Max's price point of $14.99/month is uncompetitive with Disney+ and Netflix at $6.99 and $12.99, respectively; and 2) HBO Max will not have the appeal of a brand new service.'

Nispel rates the stock at sector weight with a $38 target price. His comments come a day after AT&T received a downgrade from analysts at MoffettNathanson, who worried about whether the company will be able to meet its targets. AT&T shares slipped 4.1% in Tuesday's session, though they're up 30% on the year. The S&P 500 has risen 24% so far in 2019.

By gregory.houston - 8 Years AgoI downloaded and installed SpeechSDK51.exe from.It added three voices, Mike, Mary, and Sample TTS Voice. If I type a sentence and then try to preview it with the Sample TTS Voice, it just says 'blah' for every word. If I try to sample Mike or Mary there is just silence.

After typing a sentence and selecting Mike or Mary, and then clicking 'Ok', I get the following error message:'TTS Engine cannot convert the inputted text into speech.' Did I install the correct file? There are six listed on the page above. Do I need to install an additional file?By gregory.houston - 8 Years Ago. The Cepstral Voices you showcase don't mention if they work on Windows 7 64 Bit either.

Cepstral's William sounds a lot more digital than the Natural Voices Mike as well. The price was a bit high for me, but the main factor that kept me from making the purchase was that nowhere on that page does it say if the voices are compatible with either the Microsoft Sapi 4 TTS Engine or the Microsoft Sapi 5 TTS Engine, nor is there mention of what operating systems the voices are compatible with. Before spending that sort of cash I would need some reassurance it's going to work on my computer. I imagine others would feel the same way.By gregory.houston - 8 Years AgoI still haven't been able to get the additional Microsoft Sapi 5 voices working, but I can confirm that the SAPI 4 for Vista does work in CTA on Windows 7 64 Bit. Once installed, when you select Add Voice Text-to-Speech in CTA, you will be prompted to select a TTS Engine Interface, either Microsoft SAPI 4 or Microsoft SAPI 5.I then took a gamble and purchased a couple AT&T Natural Voices from NextUp.

They do indeed work with CTA and show up in the list of voices when you choose the Microsoft SAPI 5 TTS Engine. These voices are of much higher quality than the Microsoft SAPI 4 voices.By Peter (RL) - 8 Years Ago. The Cepstral Voices you showcase don't mention if they work on Windows 7 64 Bit either. It wasn't a reply to your original post. Apologies for any confusion.I can confirm that the Cepstral voices are SAPI 5 and work well with CTA. I would like to stress that if you are considering purchasing a voice pack from another company I would advise checking with them first to ensure that the voices will work with Windows 7 64bit.In answer to your original request. Reallusion do not develop or sell any TTS voices direct so it wouldn't be possible to include extra voices in CTA. However as with all wishful features submitted your request will be passed to and reviewed by the CTA team.

Perhaps additional partnering options can be arranged for the future.By TrezSoft - 8 Years AgoI am curently using both SAPI 4 & 5 on Windows 7 64 bit with CTA, CTA seems to work ok with SAPI 4 but it may not work with others apps.By Askjerry - 8 Years AgoAs for voices I go to and do the characters there. Then while it is in preview mode I capture the audio with something like and make a bunch of MP3 or WAV files. You can do the same thing at with the advantage of either being that you don't need to download anything.

So it is operating system agnostic. As for the page. I pay the $6 a month. So I have enough points to say anything I need. With the page you only need one or two actors.

And you can assign the voices as needed. If you REALLY want to get into it. You can download STATE which is their animation package.

And use the hacks by the Yahoo State Plus group. You'll end up buying the extra voice packs. Just a couple bucks. But then you have like 25 or so voices. More if you get the foreign language packs. The State Plus group is using that platform to create a Star Trek type movie. More details here: isn't a competitor of this software because you can only use fixed assets.

Their sets and their actors. But it is good as a voice source.Anyway. It's a good voice option even if it is another step.JerryBy TrezSoft - 8 Years AgoHi,You have two options:Install the SAPI 5 SDK this will give you Mike and Maryand / orInstall SAPI 4 (Vista version) which will give you all the old voices (mike, mary,Sam etc)Reallusion have a page with all the links:StuartBy gregory.houston - 8 Years AgoYeah, I had no idea the voice files were so large. Both that I purchased are about 550 Mb each.I think if the CTA TTS page just mentioned that the Vista SAPI 4 download works with Windows 7 that would have simplified things a great deal for me. A bonus would be explaining step-by-step how to get the Microsoft SAPI 5 voices on Windows 7 which I still haven't figured out.By gregory.houston - 8 Years AgoThanks Stuart.

I went over that page yesterday, as well as doing a bunch of searchs on TTS in Windows 7. It seems installing and using voices on Windows 7 is really problematic. The SAPI 5 SDK is only for Windows 2000/ XP (since I guess this is built-in to Vista and Windows 7, though seriously buggy in Windows 7), and the SAPI 4 downgrade only mentions Vista and not Windows 7. I might try the SAPI 4 for Vista and just hope it doesn't brake something. So to revise this request, I would like to see CTA bundled with at least one SAPI 5 male voice that actually functions in Windows 7 64 Bit.Also, please mention on the page that Stuart linked to above the actual options for Windows 7.

Right now it only talks about Windows 2000/ XP and Vista. There is no mention of Windows 7 anywhere.By Peter (RL) - 8 Years Ago. Peteradam6 (6/27/2011)Voices tend to be quite large in download size. I think most run to about 800Mb, even compressed?

I doubt Reallusion wants to push its download over 1Gb, as that's going to put a lot of people off. What might be more likely to happen is that they partner with a quality TTS supplier to offer a discounted post-purchase download to customers.Actually this has already been done. Reallusion has partnered with Cepstral to offer two English and two German voices at a discounted price. For anyone interested you can find them.By peteradam6 - 8 Years AgoVoices tend to be quite large in download size.

It would be nice if CTA came with one male voice that functions in Windows 7. It doesn't even have to be a good one, just something to demo a scene with before committing to recording a real voice.I downloaded and installed TextAloud, but since the trial version comes with no voices I have no idea if it works with CTA, and am a bit reluctant to spend the $20 on it plus the $35 for the voice I would like (Natural Voices Mike) when I have no idea if it will work with CTA on Windows 7 64 Bit or not.The you showcase don't mention if they work on Windows 7 64 Bit either.
